When we arrived, there were already a room full of kids and helpers. The children were participating in planned activities supervised by several helpers.
A special needs child....
Then we joined in, helping in anyway we can...Mrs. Zaino is equally proficient in English and Mandarin. Hear her speak.....
Mrs Zaino is certainly high-energy - the class proceeded along nicely with her leadership - she loves the kids dearly.
He wanted to be carried all the time...
A helping hand goes a long way.

Helping and changing the world one person at a time...Because of agency like Future Hope, the Chinese now have options - ordinarily these special needs kids are sent to rural orphanages where their contact with the outside world is minimum - a slow death sentence for many of these children. It was a new experience for us all and we left wondering who were helped and benefited more....
